The above quote by George Barna (AWARENESS OF SPIRITUAL GIFTS IS CHANGING, Feb. 5, 2001) clearly defines the need for Spiritual Gifts teaching in the Church today. Because of the scarcity of thorough resources on the subject of Spiritual Gifts, Becky has written a study that is both insightful and challenging. Her desire is to help equip the Church to serve God as He intended. Her Spiritual Gifts conferences are not just informative, but foundational and can be beneficial for any believer - from those who know absolutely nothing about Spiritual Gifts, to those who may be familiar, but need a boost toward greater and more powerful service. In her conferences, Becky uses the workbook she developed over a twenty-five year study of Spiritual Gifts. Her intention is to help believers understand, identify, and develop their Spiritual Gifts for the greatest efficiency and order in the working ministry of the Body of Christ. God never expected everyone to do everything all of the time! These workshops point believers to a realization that we all need one another to serve well. By knowing about and understand our Spiritual Gifts, we have a better understanding, not only of ourselves, but of other believers with whom we serve. We are released from the guilt and stress we sometimes feel because we can't serve God the way somebody else does, eliminating all "competition " in the body of Christ. God wants us to be informed about Spiritual Gifts. Without a supernatural endowment by God, we cannot possibly do what He calls us to do. We believe that according to 1 Peter 4: 1-10, Scripture teaches us that it is God's desire that we as a Church Body discover, develop and operate in our gifts.

Though Becky loves teaching Spiritual Gifts, her passion is the teaching that God has developed through her study over the last five years on what it means to be DAILY CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST. Her burden is for the Church - those who belong to the Lord but have little understanding of what it means to live THE CRUCIFIED LIFE! We have to ask ourselves this question: Are we wasting the days that are to be lived with genuine commitment for God's purposes, a commitment of heart that can only come from knowing Him and living all day long in His presence? This conference takes the believer into a practical, Biblically-based journey to a true understanding of living the crucified life. It is an enlightening, humbling, challenging glimpse into the possibility for all believers, who have chosen above everything else, to crucify "Self" and live as those whose lives are not their own.
